Sakiasi Ditoka has stressed the importance of using early warning information to prepare, plan and make good decisions prior to a disaster at all levels.
Acting Minister for Public Works and Meteorological Services made the call during the World Meteorological Day celebration at Ratu Ganilau Park in Savusavu on Thursday.
He said being prepared and able to act at the right time, in the right place, can save many lives and protect the livelihoods of communities everywhere, both now and in the future.
