Thank You Fiji: Vanuatu Cyclone Victims

Thirty-eight RFMF personnel, including engineers and medical experts, a 12-member FEMAT team, and five Fiji National Disaster Management Office (NDMO) officials are in Vanuatu to co-ordinate Fiji’s support to the cyclone struck country.

This was the message from Clinical Lead Vila Central Hospital in Vanuatu Dr Sale Tamata to members of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) and the Fiji Emergency Medical Assistance Team (FEMAT). The 55-member team are currently assisting local communities in Vanuatu recover from the damages left behind by Category 4 Cyclones Kevin and Judy earlier this month.
