$467 Million Paid Out To FNPF Members: 2022 Report
Early withdrawals due to death increased to $6.lm from $5.9m in 2021, and the total death withdrawals made last year amounted to $48.3m, up from $34.2m in 2021, but less than the amounts paid prior to 2021.

According to the Fiji National Provident Fund’s (FNPF) 2022 annual report, the fund paid out a total of $467 million to its members last year.
Retirement was the top category of pay-outs, amounting to $209.Sm, which was a decrease of $8.lm from the previous year.
Housing and early withdrawals were the second and third categories, totalling $78.5m and $64.4m, respectively.
However, the most significant trend was the withdrawals made on the grounds of death .
