Experts Chosen To Review Civil Service, Recommendations

A team of four local experts with years of experience in the public service has been appointed to conduct a review of the Civil Service.
The team members are externally funded, according to the Ministry of Civil Service.
Parmesh Chand, acting Permanent Secretary for Civil Service, said the ministry had engaged the experts to provide hands-on advisory assistance in several areas, including improving workplace conditions, mapping career paths, enhancing recruitment practices for senior leadership positions, and streamlining grievance and disciplinary processes for fairness and efficiency.
Mr Chand also said Government was committed to continuous improvements in the workplace environment, career path opportunities, recruitment practices, and the handling of grievances and disciplinary procedures.
