Suva boxer Joseph Kwadjo is a step away from challenging the Fiji cruiserweight title currently held by the unbeaten Alivereti Kauyaca.
Kwadjo stopped Isikeli ‘Bullet’ Senidoko in the second round in the main bout of the Lewis-Hills Boxing Promotions at the FMF Gym in Suva on Saturday night.
Kwadjo said his win was made possible through hardwork, support from members of his camp and their faith in God.
He dropped Senidoko to the canvas in the second round and although his cornermen wanted the fight to continue, New Zealand-based referee Faiyaz Khan moved in to stop the fight.
