Opposition Member of Parliament Inia Seruiratu is likely to accept Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka’s offer to attend COP28.
Mr Rabuka had rejected the offer to attend COP28, scheduled for Dubai later in November.
“I have rejected a recommendation for me to go to the COP28 meeting,” Mr Rabuka said.
“I am thinking of sending Opposition MP, Inia Seruiratu.
“We will be wasting all the data Seruiratu has as a champion for climate change if he is left out of the discussions on it.”
