Commander Republic of Fiji Navy Humphrey Tawake is calling on relevant agencies and stakeholders to work together to make Fiji’s maritime industry compliant and relevant.
While chairing the National IMSAS Steering Committee last week, Mr Tawake said in the last 2018 audit, there were a lot of positives and grey areas in that maritime industry that needed to be addressed.
Mr Tawake said Fiji must not be too comfortable when it came to its compliance status with various International Maritime Organisation (IMO) conventions.
