Sports Minister Jese Saukuru said yesterday he would be looking into the exorbitant $25 car park fees charged by the Fiji Sports Council for this Saturday’s Shop N Save Super Rugby double header at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

“I am not aware of this, but I will get back to you,” Saukuru told SUNsports during the Parliament sitting break yesterday.

Parliament finished late yesterday.

Fans including prominent sportsmen and women are questioning the sudden increase in the same car park which vehicle owners were charged $3 a day for parking during the 47th Fiji Bitter Marist sevens tournament two weeks ago.
