Moce Mada, Ratu Epeli Ganilau
Adi Koila Ganilau, the eldest daughter of the former Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Ratu Epeli Ganilau yesterday paid a moving tribute at her father’s funeral service.
Hosted by the RFMF, a funeral service in honour of the late Ratu Epeli was held at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks Chapel in Delainabua.
Among mourners who gathered at the service were President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, former Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama, former RFMF Commander Viliame Naupoto and former President Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konrote.
Adi Koila described her Ratu as a gentle soul, selfless and a great man in every sense of the word.
Adi Koila read out her Ratu’s parting message, a message the late Ratu Epeli had penned before he passed away.
