A prominent Labasa business­man has called on Govern­ment to explore avenues that will ensure a training path­way is created for skills enhance­ment.

A.Hussain Group of Companies managing director, Hamzah Hus­sein, said migration overseas for better paying jobs was a contribu­tor to this shortage.

Mr Hussein told the Fiscal Review Committee chairperson, Richard Naidu, to consider the re-establish­ment of technical colleges around the country.
