The chase for a top eight spot in the Digicel Fiji Premier League (DFPL) to qualify for the Digicel Fiji FACT tournament has started.

A second half resurgence by the Labasa football side saw them beat Tailevu/Naitasiri 2-1 at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour, Deuba, yesterday.

Labasa dubbed the Babasiga Lions has moved out of the bottom spot of the DFPL points table after registering their first win.

Speaking to SUNsports after the win, Labasa coach, Johan Leewai, said they have three more matches to play before they could confirm whether they have qualified for the Fiji FACT or not.
