Disappointed Fans; Lynda Tabuya Apologises

Lynda Tabuya has publicly apologised in a social media post to the Fijian Drua fans and family members who could not take photos with the team after the double-header win against Melbourne Rebels at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva on Saturday.

Most of the fans and family members eagerly waited to take pictures with the Drua players when an announcement was made for the players to make their way to the changing room because the Prime Minister was waiting for them.

The Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, in her post said: “As I congratulate the women and men of Drua for an amazing win, I want to apologise to all fans who were waiting to take photos, but the boys had to rush in to meet with the Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka and a few of us accompanying him.”
