Fiji’s premier employer organisation has called on its members to do away with airing internal concerns with the media.
Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation made the call last week after media reports emerged over some members concerns surrounding five topics in a draft proposal of the Employment Relations Bill of 2007.
Some employers questioned the sudden inclusion of issues that were not agreed to by all parties in the initial stages of consultations concerning proposals to the Bill.
FCEF chief executive officer, Kameli Batiweti said it was not good practice to speak to the media.
