It’s always tough to learn the hard way.
That was the gist of Fiji Airways Fijian men’s rugby sevens coach Ben Gollings message after their 24-17 loss to New Zealand in the Cup Final of the Hong Kong Sevens , early yesterday morning.
‘We can’t give New Zealand a 19 points head start in the final,’ he said as New Zealand led 24-7 at halftime.
‘We didn’t react and it made it a lot tougher for us.”
