As the national flag carrier resumes the Narita service from tomorrow, the Government says it is going places it never dreamed of.

From East Coast, Chicago, to the Hong Kong connection to the United Kingdom via British Airways and Cathay Pacific, Fiji Airways network expansion can report a healthy growth.

The move complements thrice weekly service through Singapore and Vancouver.

And with the expected arrival of two A350-900 aircraft in the next two months, an additional cargo volume of 16 tonnes will be covered, said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Manoa Kamikamica.

Tourism minister, Viliame Gavoka, said the two new aircraft herald potentially new routes over the next two to three years – with Asia in mind.
