PM Rabuka Apologises, We Were Wrong

Spectators and supporters of the Fijian Drua team were left disappointed on Saturday afternoon after their time with the players after the game had to be cut short when an announcement was made that the Prime Minister was waiting for the team in the locker room.

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka said they were wrong to have intruded into the time Fijian Drua players were supposed to have shared with their fans after the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua and Rebels Shop N Save Super Rugby Round Six clash in Suva last Saturday.

Speaking to the media yesterday, Mr Rabuka said he had to apologise to the Fijian Drua team members and management after what transpired after the match.
