Rebels Coach: Learn From Fijian Drua Loss

Melbourne Rebels captain Brad Wilkin has called on his team-mates to learn from their 38-28 loss to the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua in last Saturday’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific clash at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
Wilkin said they knew that the Drua would go for an early start but they did not do much about it especially in the contact zone.
“We allowed them (Drua) to play the rugby that they want,” he said.
The Drua ran in tries to Ilaisa Droasese, Selestino Ravutaumada, Vilive Miramira, Iosefo Masi and Kitione Salawa in the first half while the Rebels managed only one try through hooker Alex Mafi as they trailed 33-7.
