Navua Coach Saiyad Ali Tells Of Their Plight

Indiscipline is an area the Navua football team is working on after their 4-1 defeat to Suva at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour, Deuba, last Sunday.

Three Navua players of striker Thomas Dunn, Sunny Deol and Joseph Elder copped yellow cards.

Speaking to SUNsports, Navua coach Saiyad Ali said that his side was not fit to cope with a team like Suva who is equipped with quality players.

“The heat was a major factor and then again the three weeks break and we didn’t train much. We just train for a few days, I think that’s why the players were too tired in the second half,” he said.
