Opposition Members of Parliament questioned the Minister for Youth and Sports Jese Saukuru on the need for him to travel overseas to watch two 7s rugby tournaments.
Mr Saukuru said he travelled to the World Rugby sevens tournaments in Los Angeles and Vancouver in February and March at the behest of the Prime Minister.
“In simple terms, from the directive of the Prime Minister, I had to be in attendance with the Fiji rugby team in both the Los Angeles and Vancouver legs of the Rugby 7s,” Mr Saukuru said.
