Food operators in Labasa Town have been urged to produce quality food service to ensure high standards in the local food industry.

With new food outlets springing up in Labasa and other outlets to open soon at Damodar City complex, food standards and prices are paramount to lure customers.

Northern Division health inspector Vakaruru Cavuilati, said they had noted a decline in complaints after the final grading in December last year.

“There has been a marked improvement since grading and this is welcomed by the public and stakeholders,” he said.
