CID Continue Investigations Against Ex-A-G And Saneem
The Criminal Investigations Department has continued the investigations on allegations against former Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and the former Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem.
They were questioned by the CID officers at CID head office at Suva Street in Toorak.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Sakeo Raikaci said investigations were underway and Mr Sayed-Khaiyum and Mr Saneem were questioned with regards to a report lodged by the Acting Supervisor of Elections last month in relation to various allegations of abuse of office and the use of forged documents.
