The message of Easter is hope and that hope is based on our awareness of God’s love for us, says Nadi Sigatoka special administrator Chair Lawrence Kumar.
As staunch Methodists, he said it teaches that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for all of humanity and that salvation is available for all.
The day marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ after he was crucified.
“Easter celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead three days after He was crucified,” Mr Kumar said.
