Safer Easter Up North, Zero Fatal Incidents

No fatal incidents were recorded during the long Easter weekend in the Northern Division, declared the Fiji Police Force.

There were no motor vehicle accidents leading to death, drowning and other forms of crime-related deaths.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said apart from no fatal incidents, the vehicle fire in Labasa Town was the only case of interest.

Ms Naisoro said they continued to investigate the cause of the fire that led to the vehicle engulfed in flames with nothing left to save.
