Minister Abhors Brutality, Officers Told To Uphold Law

Pio Tikoduadua has made it clear that he does not tolerate any form of police brutality.
The Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration also demands for professionalism from police personnel , “which cannot be overemphasised”.
During the first day of his Northern Tour yesterday he visited Seaqaqa Police Station in Macuata Province where he made this statement.
Just lately within two weeks, he said there has been more occurrence of Police brutality and also from the Fiji Corrections Service.
He said this habit must be eliminated once and for all.
