Police Personnel Back From Tour Of Duty

Out of the 12 Police officers, 11 returned from the United Nation Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) and one from the Multinational Force Observers (MFO) in Sinai
The returning personel were officially welcomed by the director international relations, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ulaiasi Ravula who extended the Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew’s appreciation of the officer’s peacekeeping roles during their deployment and also acknowledged their families for their support.
SSP Ravula said there had been a lot of changes that took place during their one year away.
“Throughout this re-integration programme you will realise that a lot has changed in the one year. There have been changes in Government, and in our organisation as well, there are new policies in place that you need to understand,” SSP Ravula said.
