The Praneel Naidu captained Rifle Range TIV Sangam side clinched their first-ever Super Premier title in the 94th TIV Sangam IDC under the floodlights at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on Monday night.
It was exactly 30 years since the Rifle Range side made their debut in the tournament.
Nippy Lautoka football rep Justin Edwards stood tall as a giant when with a minute left in the first spell, scored via a header; this was enough to beat goalie Manoj Nand.
That goal did the damage as they beat back-to-back finallist Nadi 1-0 witness by a record crowd of over 3000.
