Health Staff Plant Vegetables For Wellbeing Of Patients
Ministry of Health and Medical Services staff based at the Savusavu Medical Subdivision Hospital have engaged in a food planting initiative.

A Ministry of Health and Medical Services medical team in the North visited and provided medical outreach services, dental and other normal check-ups in the maritime and rural areas in the division last week.
Ministry of Health and Medical Services staff based at the Savusavu Medical Subdivision Hospital have engaged in a food planting initiative.
This is part of the Ministry of Agriculture’s ‘Grow your own food initiative’.
Health staff have started the project by planting vegetables that will be consumed by in-patients.
Permanent Secretary Dr James Fong said this was a food planting initiative which they encouraged their staff to engage in.
