Majority of the secondary schools in the country will be focused in training their athletes as they race against time since the Coca-Cola Games will be held on April 27-29 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

Adi Cakobau School (ACS) media liaison officer Kavuama Latilevu said they are thankful to the ACS Old Girls Association and the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) in hiring the services of head coach Makelesi Bulikiobo and assistant Vaciseva Tavaga to help prepare their athletes.

Bulikiobo is a former Pacific sprint queen at the 2003 Pacific Games while Tavaga was the country’s top women sprinter in the 1990s.

“We count ourselves lucky as we have two former sprint queens coaching the girls this year.
