Tailevu Build-Up To Great Council Of Chiefs Meet Gains Momentum
Tailevu Province will pay close attention to detail in ensuring the Great Council of Chiefs (GCC) meeting on Bau Island, from March 23 to 25 is efficiently taken care of.
The chiefs from the 22 districts met yesterday to focus on the catering arrangements for the meeting.
Spokesperson for the Turaga na Vunivalu, na Tui Kaba, the Tunitoga, Aisea Komaitai, said every village and district in Tailevu knows the food that they have to bring to Bau Island is what they are known for.
“When the vanua is told that the province of Tailevu will be catering the respective districts know the food they will bring.”
