Tela Is On Battle Mode
Swire Shipping Fijian Drua first five-eight, Teti Tela, is eager to play against the Shop N Save Super Rugby 2023 season points leader, the Chiefs, at the FMG Stadium in New Zealand tonight.
The former Queensland Reds number 10 has admitted that playing against the Chiefs at home is not a walk on the park.
“This is going to be a brutal encounter, as points table leaders they (Chiefs) would play hard to retain their supremacy,” Tela said.
“I have a strong feeling that we can counter. I am enthusiastic, and we are ready.
“We hope to go one better this week. Every game is important. We strive to reach the final this year, every game it is very important. Games won on the board always put you in a good position for the finals come the end of the year.”
