The Digicel Fiji Under-20 football side is in a tough pool for the FIFA U20 World Cup, which is on May 20 to June 11 in Argentina.
The Fijians are in Group B along with United States of America (USA), Ecuador and Slovakia.
The national U20 side flew out to Gold Coast, Australia, to complete their final phase of preparations.
Fiji Football Association chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf said the inclusion of national football coach Marika Rodu had boosted the team’s preparations.
