Shaenaz Voss Pleads Not Guilty, $10,000 Bail
The Chief Executive Officer of Fiji Link has pleaded not guilty to a charge related to the alleged unlawful carriage of firearms on a flight to Labasa.
Shaenaz Voss, 63, appeared before Magistrate Shageeth Somaratne at the Magistrates Court in Nausori yesterday represented by prominent lawyers Devanesh Sharma and Gul Fatima.
Voss faces a charge of failure to comply with the requirements of the operator’s airline security programme contrary to section 37 of the Civil Aviation (Security) Regulation 1994.
It is alleged that on October 8, 2018 at Nausori International Airport being the CEO of Fiji Link she failed to comply with the requirements of Fiji Link Operation Airline Security programme on board domestic flight FJ32.
