16 Nightclub Offences In Nadi Night Clubs
From 2018 to 2022, there were 16 criminal offences committed in night clubs with the Namaka, Nadi area.
This was in a report submitted by the Fiji Police Force’s Divisional Commander Central, ASP Samisoni Naqica during the public consultation on the review of nightclub operating hours at Civic Centre in Nadi yesterday.
Mr Naqica said the criminal offences committed in night clubs in the Suva and the Nadi special zone area from 2018 to 2022 were a total of 54.
“These were recorded during the opening hours from 1am to 5am from 2018 to 2022,” he said.
“In 2018 to 2022 there were sixteen criminal offences committed in night clubs in Namaka.”
Mr Naqica added that most victims were drunkards which made it difficult for police to conduct investigations with them.
