Ben Gollings Recalls Key Reps For Final Sevens Leg
Two key players from last September’s Sevens Rugby World Cup win in Cape Town, South Africa, have been named in the 13-member squad for the Toulouse and London tournaments.
They are two-time Olympic Games gold medallists Jerry Tuwai and utility back Filipe Sauturaga.
Sevens head coach Ben Gollings said Sauturaga brought a different dynamic to the team. 7s utility back, Filipe Sauturaga.
“He has been a fantastic player, strong in defence and a bit of x-factor in attack, so to have him back is really good,” he said of Sauturaga who was ruled out for three months after he got injured in Hamilton, New Zealand.
