North Host Police Workshop On Narcotics

Seventy Police officers were part of a two-day Proactive Narcotics Workshop organised by the Fiji Police Force in the Northern Division last week.

It was to enhance their understanding in the effective awareness skills against illicit drugs trade.

The event was held at the Labasa Police Station and was also attended by the division’s Crime Prevention Committee chairperson, Satish Kumar, last Friday.

Fiji Police Force chief operations officer Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police (A/ACP) Livai Driu said the workshop imparted knowledge to their personnel on narcotics awareness and means to actively engage communities.
