Stanley Raniga: Have Faith On Fijiana Drua

Future Farms Pte Limited (trading as Rooster Chicken) chief executive officer, Stanley Raniga, has called all Fijians to have faith in the Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua after they defied all odds to reach the Super W final.
The defending champions was written off after they finished fourth on the points table but in the semifinal they beat the Waratahs 20-17 at the Concord Oval in Sydney, Australia.
The Drua faces Queensland Reds in the Super W grand final in Townsville, this Saturday.
“We don’t stop believing,” Raniga said.
“We beat them (Waratahs) twice last year. We beat them again and we are overwhelmed. We go again against the Reds so let’s get behind the team.”
Last week, the team hit headlines after they had to be hosted by former Fiji residents living in Australia due to financial constraints faced by the Fiji Rugby Union (FRU).
In this season’s round five clash, the Reds hammered the Drua 45-22.
However, the return of inspirational No.8 Sereima Leweniqila, Luisa Tisolo and Kolora Lomani enabled the side to find their mojo.
Leweniqila put on a sterling performance with Doreen Narokete, Sulita Waisega, Siteri Rasolea, Asinate Serevi and Merewai Cumu along with livewire hooker and captain, Bitila Tawake. The final kicks-off at 6.45pm.
