Prior to the match, Nadi Football Association and the spectators gave him a standing ovation.
NFA President Mohammad Mohin Rafiq handed Reddy an envelope containing money for his performance at the 2023 Coke Games.
“It is a good feeling to win those two medals,” Raddy said.
“Determination and sacrifice has paid off. I thank Nadi FA and stakeholders for their gesture and support.”
He said he would now focus on the DPL and Fiji FACT.
“We’re playing Tailevu Naitairi this weekend at home; I hope we can register three points against the other teams.”
Rafiq also received cash from the Esy Kool Managing Director Eswa Nadan.
“Thank you for your contributions towards our young player. Should he be needing any sort of assistance in near future we will surely assist,” he said.
NFA patron Mohammed Sattar did thanked Reddy for his performance in both sports.
“Vishant, you have made Korovuto College and whole of Nadi proud. Well done son.”
