The long opening hours of nightclubs are threatening the social fabric of iTaukei society.
During a public consultation on the review of nightclub operating hours at the Nadi Civic Centre, Living Way Church Pastor Conan Hatch highlighted that it was sad to see a large number of iTaukei individuals involved in criminal activities and loitering in the early hours of the morning because of excessive alcohol consumption.
He said the situation was not limited to males, as females were also affected.
