They are the unsung heroes for the Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua’s Super W title defence campaign.
In tonight’s grandfinal, the centre partnership of strong running second five eight, Merewai Cumu, and bustling centre, Vani Arei Va’aga, is what head coach Inoke Male is banking on.
Their strong carries in midfield did the trick against the Waratahs in the semifinal.
Cumu’s ability to commit three players and create space has enabled Va’aga to score five tries in the competition and tops the Drua try scoring list.
The grandfinal kicks-off at 6.45pm.
