The Fiji Airways Fijiana sevens team is among three teams chasing fourth spot on the HSBC World Sevens Series standing. The other two teams are Ireland and Great Britain.

This weekend’s Toulouse tournament in France is the final one for the women’s competition. The top four women’s teams at the end of the series automatically qualify for next year’s Paris Olympic Games in France.

Since France is the host nation for the Olympic Games, the side has automatically qualified.
