Mum Pleads Not Guilty To Murder Charge
It was alleged that on December 15, 2022 in Labasa the accused will fully caused the death of her new born baby girl.

A 28-year-old mother, who allegedly killed her newborn baby, pleaded not guilty at Labasa High Court on Monday.
Sainaz Begum appeared before Judge Justice Usaia Ratuvili.
She was represented by John Prasad of John Prasad Lawyers.
The mother of two children was initially charged with one count of infanticide.
State counsel Luisa Latu filed new information and the charge was amended to one count murder.
It was alleged that on December 15, 2022 in Labasa the accused will fully caused the death of her new born baby girl.
The case has been adjourned to July 12 for pre-trial conference.
