Let’s Go Local: Still So Much To Explore – Sonal Sharma

There’s so much Fiji has to offer that despite growing up in Fiji, there’s still so much I would love to explore, starting from Taveuni.
This was how Sonal Sharma described the places she’d love to visit.
The Corporate and Government Communications Specialist at Tourism Fiji said she wished to hike up Taveuni during the flowering season and see the tagimoucia flower.
“Growing up as a child reading the myths and legends of Fiji, it’s been on my bucket list since then,” the 29-year-old said.
Ms Sharma was born in Savusavu and brought up in Suva.
Her job involves getting communications out to the tourism industry and media.
What Is One Place In Fiji You Would Take Visitors To?
If I were to pick one place, it would be Namosi Eco Retreat.
Amazing getaway where you disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature and yourself.
Every aspect of the place has a soul.

Namosi Eco Retreat.
What Is Your Favourite Place For Coffee Or Pie?
Go Cafe in the Victoria Parade, Suva.
In the West, I go to 28g at Sheraton Fiji Golf and Beach Resort which serves delicious coffee and cheesecake.
