Police have started an investigation surrounding the death of a 71-year-old man in Lautoka yesterday.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the accident happened at the victim’s home in Lautoka.
“The victim was reversing the tractor from his driveway along Lum Street in Lautoka when he allegedly lost control, causing it to veer-off the driveway, tumbled, trapping him underneath,” Ms Naisori said.
“Investigations continue.”
The family of the victim wished not to comment to the media.
