Fiji Development Bank’s climate financing scheme is part of funds used to develop solar farms in Fiji.

Four agriculture-based solar farms are expected for Fiji with feasibility studies completed on at least four sites.

The first of two solar farms for Ovalau project is under the charge of developer, Envelops, a Korean social venture company represents a consortium of private investors.

The Korean investors are keen to replicate the agriculture solar farm concept used in other Pacific Island countries.
