Sugar Minister Meets Rakiraki Farmers
Minister for Sugar and Multi-ethnic Affairs Charan Jeath Singh met with sugar cane farmers from the Rakiraki yesterday in the lead-up to the sugar cane crushing season.

Minister for Sugar and Multi-ethnic Affairs Charan Jeath Singh met with sugar cane farmers from the Rakiraki yesterday in the lead-up to the sugar cane crushing season.
The Lautoka and the Labasa mills will commence sugar cane crushing on May 24, while the Rarawai Mill will start on June 6.
Mr Singh also visited the Sugar Research Institute crop improvement department breeding station in Dobuilevu, Rakiraki.
