The Wes Naiqama-coached Kaiviti Silktails went down 22-12 to St Mary’s in round 9 of the New South Wales (NSW) Rugby League’s Ron Massey Cup competition at Churchill Park in Lautoka, today.
The hosts trailed 8-6 at halftime with a try to Ratu Jilivecevece and the conversion from Tomasi Seru. In the second half, Sefanaia Bola scored Silktails second try with Seru adding the extras but it was not enough against a tough Australian side who scored six tries. Manoa Vilikesa of the Silktails was yellow carded in the 22nd minute
