Climate change cannot be effectively addressed solely through conference table discussions; it requires tangible action on the ground.

This sentiment was emphasized by the High Commissioner of India to Fiji P.S. Karthigeyan during the inauguration of the solarisation project on Bau Island yesterday.

“It brings me great joy to witness the successful launch of the second solarisation project in Fiji within a span of three months,” Mr Karthigeyan said.

“Some of you may be aware that the solarisation project at the official residence of the President of Fiji, State House, was initiated in February 2023 during the visit of the External Affairs Minister.
