Charges Against Ratu Tevita Withdrawn
Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions says lack of evidence led to decision.

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has decided not to reinstate charges against Ratu Tevita Uluilakeba Mara.
In a statement from the ODPP, the Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions Lee Burney stated that there would be no reinstatement of charges against Ratu Tevita following a review of the matter.
Ratu Tevita was charged by police for making seditious comments in 2011.
A nolle prosequi (formal withdrawal of a charge by the State) was filed in court in 2014 ending the proceedings.
