Cokonaki Cogea Project Enters Second Phase
The Fiji Council of Social Services (FCOSS) will start the second phase of the Cokonaki Cogea project in Bua.
Last month, the organisation completed bulk earth work plans, water reticulation plans, sewer layout plans, landscape plans, written consent from households and the community, orientation on site establishment and two community co-designing workshops.
FCOSS executive director Vani Catanasiga said she met officers from the Ministry of Forestry Northern Division to discuss plans for training and other technical services for Cogea villagers for the building aspects of the project.
“This weekend, the Cokonaki Cogea project site engineer and project team will attempt to finalise a few items on the drawings before final production and issuance for costing exercise,” Ms Catanasiga said.
