PM On Cabinet Reshuffle Claim

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka can neither confirm nor deny claims of a possible Cabinet reshuffle in the coming weeks.
Mr Rabuka said he had the right to reshuffle the Cabinet, if he deemed their performance to be unsatisfactory.
“If an issue arises and is brought to the attention of a Minister, and they respond positively and effectively, satisfying the Prime Minister, then the matter is resolved. However, if the Prime Minister remains dissatisfied , it becomes his duty to ensure that the government administration is conducted by the most competent individuals suitable for their assigned positions,” PM said.
He emphasised that remain servants of the people and must serve in accordance with the public’s expectations.
